About ArtLabs
What is ArtLabs?ArtLabs is a welcoming, professional studio space in Poway where you can experiment with your creativity—through guided Labs (workshops), Open Studio time, youth programming, and private events.
Do I need to be an artist to come?Not at all. Beginners are always welcome. We’ll guide you step-by-step in guided Labs, and you can also choose self-guided options if you prefer to work at your own pace.
Booking & Scheduling
Do I need a reservation?Yes—reservations are required for most sessions to keep the studio comfortable and properly stocked.
Do you accept walk-ins?Sometimes. Walk-ins are welcome only if the studio is open and we’re not booked within the next 2 hours. Availability is first-come, first-served.
How do I book?Book online in advance. If you’re not sure which option to choose, email us at hello@artlabscollab.com .
How early should I arrive?Plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early so you can get settled and start on time.
Labs (Workshops)
What’s a “Lab”?A Lab is a creative experience designed to help you explore a project, technique, or theme. Some Labs are guided (step-by-step), and others are more free-flow.
What’s included in a Lab?All core materials are included, plus light refreshments when noted in the event listing.
How long are Labs?Most Labs are 2 hours.
What are your current Lab options and pricing?
Creative Lab (Guided): $55/person (2 hours, guided, includes an 11x14 canvas)
Open Lab (Self-guided): $30/hour (materials included)
Can I come with a friend or group?Yes. Booking ahead is recommended so we can reserve space and prep supplies.
Open Studio
What is Open Studio?Open Studio is your time to create in a professional studio environment—perfect for personal projects, practice time, or experimenting with new materials.
Do you provide supplies during Open Studio?Yes—materials are included for Open Lab/Open Studio sessions as described in the booking.
Youth Program: Young Visionaries (Ages 7–11)
What is Young Visionaries?Young Visionaries is a youth art program for ages 7–11, designed for skill-building, creative confidence, and guided exploration.
What’s the schedule?Typically Tuesday–Thursday, 3:00–6:00pm.
How does pricing work?
$30/hour (standard)
First class: $25 (limit 1 per child)
8-class pack: $230
Do parents need to stay?Parents are welcome to stay. For safety, we require authorized pick-up.

Do you offer memberships?Yes.
What’s included in the monthly membership?
$99/month

Can I pause, transfer, or roll over hours?Membership hours are not transferable between families and do not roll over.
Private Parties & Corporate Events
Do you host private parties?Yes—studio parties are available for celebrations and group experiences.
Do you offer corporate team building?Yes. We offer creative team-building experiences designed to help teams connect, collaborate, and create.
How do I inquire about an event?Email info@artlabscollab.com with your preferred date, group size, and what you’re celebrating.
Studio Policies & Safety
Do I need to sign a waiver?Yes. A waiver is required for all participants. Minors must have a parent/guardian sign.
Are there any materials you don’t allow?For safety, no aerosols, solvents, or open flames unless explicitly approved.
What if there’s an emergency?For medical emergencies, call 911 immediately. We also document incidents to keep our studio safe and accountable.
Cancellations & Transfers
What is your cancellation policy for workshops?
Full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before your session
Non-refundable within 24 hours
Tickets may be transferred to a friend
If ArtLabs cancels, you’ll receive a full refund
Artwork, Storage & Clean-Up
Do I need to clean up?We’ll guide you through clean-up at the end of your session. We ask everyone to help keep the studio tidy and respectful for the next artists.
Can I leave my artwork to dry or pick up later?Yes—artwork may be stored for up to 2 weeks. Please label it with your name and date.
Accessibility & Comfort
Is the studio climate controlled?Yes—air conditioning and heat are available.
Do you have a kitchen/bathroom?Yes—there’s a bathroom and a small kitchen area.
