ArtLabs Creative Collab Terms and Conditions for Labs & Events
Welcome to ArtLabs Creative Collab! These Terms & Conditions help us create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for everyone.
These Terms apply to bookings, purchases, registrations, and participation in ArtLabs Creative Collab (“ArtLabs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offerings, including Creative Labs and workshops, Open Lab sessions, Young Visionaries programs, memberships, corporate team-building events, private parties, and studio visits.
Please review these Terms before completing your booking or purchase. Any additional program or event terms will be provided before payment. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the specific program or event terms govern that booking, subject to applicable law.
1. Bookings, Payment & Pricing
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless we provide a different payment schedule in writing. Private parties and corporate events may require a deposit and a remaining balance paid before the event.
You are responsible for providing accurate booking and contact information and using a payment method you are authorized to use.
Prices may change for future purchases. The price confirmed for an existing booking will be honored. Applicable taxes and mandatory fees will be disclosed before payment.
Except as provided in these Terms, the terms disclosed at purchase, or applicable law, all sales are final. Class packs, memberships, and event deposits may not be transferred to another person without ArtLabs’ advance approval.
2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
For individual classes, Open Lab sessions, and Young Visionaries drop-ins:
At least 24 hours before the scheduled start: You may request to reschedule or receive a studio credit. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
Less than 24 hours before the scheduled start: Your booking is non-refundable. Rescheduling or credit may be offered at ArtLabs’ discretion.
No-shows: Missed sessions are non-refundable and do not automatically qualify for credit or rescheduling.
Send cancellation or rescheduling requests to hello@artlabscollab.com. The time your request is received determines whether it meets the cancellation deadline.
Multi-session programs, memberships, private parties, and corporate events are subject to the cancellation terms provided before purchase.
Please arrive on time. Late arrival may limit your participation, and staff may be unable to admit you if essential safety instructions have been missed.
3. Changes or Cancellations by ArtLabs
ArtLabs may cancel or reschedule a class, program, or event because of low enrollment, instructor availability, illness, facility issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
If we cancel your booking or change its scheduled date or time and you cannot attend, you may choose a refund of the amount paid for the affected booking or a studio credit. For a partially completed multi-session program, the refund or credit will cover the canceled portion.
We will use the contact information provided with your booking to notify you of changes as promptly as reasonably possible.
4. Memberships & Class Packs
Membership and class-pack benefits, booking requirements, usage limits, expiration terms, and cancellation policies will be disclosed before purchase. Reservations remain subject to availability.
If a membership renews automatically, the recurring price, billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions will be presented before enrollment. ArtLabs will obtain your express consent before recurring charges begin and provide the notices and cancellation options required by applicable law.
Acceptance of these general Terms alone does not authorize recurring charges.
5. Private Parties & Corporate Events
Private parties and corporate team-building events are subject to a written booking agreement or event confirmation that outlines the applicable:
Deposit and payment schedule.
Cancellation and rescheduling policy.
Guest count and deadlines for changes.
Included activities, materials, and studio time.
Approved food, beverages, decorations, and additional services.
Additional charges must be disclosed and agreed to before they are incurred. The event organizer is responsible for sharing relevant studio rules with guests.
6. Children & Young Visionaries Programs
A parent or legal guardian must authorize participation for anyone under 18 and complete any required registration and consent forms.
Program descriptions specify age requirements and whether an activity allows drop-off participation or requires an accompanying adult. Unless an activity is expressly identified as a drop-off program, a parent, guardian, or responsible adult must remain with and supervise the child.
For drop-off programs, parents or guardians must provide current emergency contact information, identify authorized pickup individuals, and follow the program’s arrival and pickup procedures.
Please tell us before the session about allergies, accessibility needs, or other information relevant to safe participation. Contact us to discuss accommodations and whether an activity is appropriate for your child.
7. Studio Safety & Conduct
Please treat fellow guests, instructors, staff, tools, and studio spaces with care and respect.
Participants must follow staff instructions, use equipment only as directed, and wear protective items when required. Some materials may stain clothing or personal belongings, so please dress appropriately for art activities.
ArtLabs may pause or end participation for unsafe, abusive, or seriously disruptive behavior. Removal for these reasons may result in forfeiture of the session fee, subject to applicable law.
Participants may be responsible for reasonable repair or replacement costs for damage caused by intentional misconduct or misuse of equipment, excluding normal wear and tear.
Alcohol is permitted only at events expressly approved by ArtLabs and in accordance with applicable law. Guests must be of legal drinking age to consume alcohol. ArtLabs may restrict participation by anyone whose impairment creates a safety concern.
8. Participation Risks & Liability
Creative activities involve risks, including cuts, burns, irritation or allergic reactions, spills, slips, and damage to clothing or belongings. Activities may involve paints, adhesives, cutting tools, and other materials or equipment.
By choosing to participate, you acknowledge the inherent risks of the activity and agree to follow safety instructions. Parents and guardians should review these risks when authorizing a child’s participation.
Please notify staff promptly of an injury, unsafe condition, or reaction to a material. ArtLabs cannot guarantee that the studio or its materials are free of allergens.
Certain activities may require a separate participation agreement or liability waiver before participation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These Terms do not waive rights or remedies that applicable law makes non-waivable.
Please keep personal belongings secure. ArtLabs is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings except where responsibility is imposed by applicable law.
9. Artwork, Materials & Creative Content
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you own the physical artwork you create during your session. Participation does not transfer ownership of ArtLabs’ instructional materials, templates, branding, or other protected content.
Materials included with a booking are described in the applicable listing. Specialty materials or optional upgrades may cost extra; any additional price will be disclosed before purchase.
Creative results vary, and ArtLabs does not guarantee that finished artwork will match an instructor’s example.
If artwork must remain at the studio to dry or be completed, we will provide pickup instructions and disclose any applicable storage deadlines or fees.
10. Photography & Media Consent
ArtLabs may ask permission to photograph or record participants and their artwork for our website, social media, printed materials, or other promotional uses.
Permission to use identifiable images or recordings for marketing will be requested separately. For participants under 18, permission must come from a parent or legal guardian.
Photo and media consent is optional and is not a condition of participation. Any permission to feature your artwork in marketing will also be addressed in the separate consent.
You may contact hello@artlabscollab.com to withdraw permission for future use. Withdrawal does not undo previously authorized uses; we will explain any practical limits on removing materials already printed or distributed.
Please respect other guests’ privacy and obtain permission before photographing or recording them.
11. Retail Purchases
Any return, exchange, or final-sale conditions for retail items will be clearly disclosed before purchase. Those conditions do not limit rights relating to defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied goods under applicable law.
Separate agreements between ArtLabs and artists or consignment vendors do not replace the purchase terms disclosed to retail customers.
12. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms as our services or policies change. The current version will be available on our website or at the studio, with its effective date.
Updates apply to future bookings and purchases. Existing bookings remain subject to the terms accepted at purchase unless a change is required by law or agreed to by you. Changes to ongoing memberships will be communicated with any notice or consent required by law.
13. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by California law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
